Hassan Wasiu Sunday, born on May 24, 1998, in Oyo State, Nigeria, is a ​contemporary artist whose work explores themes of identity, culture, and societal ​issues. Growing up in Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government, Hassan's passion for ​art was ignited at a young age.

He received his primary education in Eruwa and completed his secondary ​education at Baptist Model High School, Sanngo, Eruwa. Hassan furthered his art ​education at Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, where he obtained a ​National Diploma with an upper credit grade.

During his time at the polytechnic, Hassan completed his industrial training at ​Oluwole Omofemi Art Studio, Dugbe, Ibadan, and later at the Center for African ​Arts and Design Gallery, Awotan, Ibadan, under the mentorship of Ellis Oyekola ​[CEFAAD].
